A short drive north takes you to Dunrobin Castle, often described as one of Scotland’s most beautiful and romantic castles. With its soaring spires, formal gardens, and views over the North Sea, Dunrobin feels like something from a fairy tale. Inside, discover ornate rooms, historic collections, and daily falconry displays. For those who love hidden gems, Skelbo Castle offers striking coastal ruins overlooking Loch Fleet — a perfect picnic stop steeped in Norse and Scottish clan history. Many thanks for a hugely enjoyable stay in Cuthill. How cosy it was again and what an incredibly nice house you have. Thanks for everything and see you soon.
This is the first message from the first evening! How nice it was and we toasted, thanks for the delicious wine , really enjoyed it. Now the 3rd day, Time flies! On to Cawder with overnight at Kellas, am sooo curious. Clay pigeons were breathtaking again, hitting one more and more often. Thanks for your endless sociability, again enjoyed it immensely. What a treat!
Thank you for letting us enjoy your fantastic house, it was cosy, beautiful surroundings, the mountains, the sea, the pheasants in front of the house, it seems like paintings.
We enjoyed the hospitality.
And there we were… For the very first time in Scotland, in the most cosy house in the Highlands where we laughed more in 36 hours than in a whole year. The pace was spot on. What started in the morning with a dip in the North Sea, dance lessons, horse riding and shooting, what a mega party you made it for all of us, and how welcome we felt. Enjoyed every second, what a party!
How wonderful that we got to enjoy the beautiful house, surroundings and hospitality here with the whole family. It was a huge celebration again. Thank you very much.
We had a great time, the surroundings are beautiful, really enjoyed the hospitality. The surroundings are beautiful as is the house.
Thank you for having us as guests in your house again! Lovely to be here and enjoy all the beauty in and around the beautiful house in a lovely atmosphere. It was very cosy again. Thank you for everything.
A unique property in a unique setting; that’s all it takes for a fun family holiday in autumn. Thank you for opening up your home.
How much we enjoyed the stay. We discovered the area, golf courses and culture. I already loved Scotland but now I am definitely ‘in love’. So pure, so with nature, so refreshing, so serene. Dornoch has it, I understand why you picked this place altogether. And what a wonderful stay you have made of it.
